The Columbia Journal of Environmental Law accepts note submissions from 2L and 3L Columbia Law School J.D. candidates, which are then reviewed and considered for publication in the Journal. Our note publication program is voluntary for staff members, and is open to non-staff members.
2L or 3L students interested in publishing a note in the Journal are eligible to participate in the Journal’s note program, and should contact the Notes Editor at firstname.lastname@example.org by early in the Fall semester. Final note submissions are usually due early in the Spring semester. The Journal usually publishes 4-5 student notes each year.
The Publishable Notes Manual is available upon request at email@example.com. It contains research and writing advice as well as submission procedures and deadlines.
